Daylight Saving Time Messes With Your Body

If you have been feeling sleep deprived since Sunday, it might be because of the change to daylight saving time.  It seems when we spring forward it does seem to have affects on our body.  There is an increased risk of stroke because of the disruption of something called the circadian rhythm and because of the disruption it can also potentially affect your fertility.  There has been research that shows increased rates of miscarriage for women undergoing in vitro fertilization during Daylight Saving Time.  More headaches is another affect from the change to daylight saving time and the risk of heart attack seems to increase slightly around Daylight Saving Time. So when we joke it's only an hour, turns out that hour seems to make a big difference in a lot of areas. Yikes!
