Dwayne Johnson will receive the 'Generation Award' at the '2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards.' " Johnson is an icon on both film and TV who has become one of the most beloved actors of our generation," MTV said in a statement.
Honorees in the past have included, Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock and Mark Whalberg.
The award show will air this coming Monday at 9pm.
