Kalie Shorr Reveals Coronavirus Diagnosis Despite Being Quarantined

Rising country singer, Kalie Shorr has revealed her coronavirus diagnosis. The "Fight Like A Girl" singer is speaking out about the terrible symptoms she's experiences, emphasizing how contagious the virus is.

"The first few days were absolutely miserable," Shorr writes on Twitter. "I've never felt like that before. My entire body was in pain, and my fever was like riding a wave. I completely lost my sense of taste and smell."

Shorr, who has been quarantined for three weeks with the exception of several trips to the grocery still managed to catch COVID-19. She says, "I'm feeling significantly better, but it's proof how dangerous and contagious this is."

She adds, "It's endlessly frustrating to see people not taking this seriously."

Shorr's announcement comes just one day after country music icon, Joe Diffie's death on Sunday (March 29) due to coronavirus complications.

On the same day, legendary singer-songwriter, John Prine, was hospitalized and in critical condition after contracting the virus. As of Monday (March 30), Prine is doing a bit better and in stable condition according to his wife, Fiona Prine. Like many others, Fiona encourages everyone to continue to be safe and stay home and wash hands.
