Watch: Kacey Musgraves Unveils Unreleased Track During Surprise Set

Kacey Musgraves unveiled unreleased tracks from her upcoming studio album when she took the stage for a last-minute surprise Coachella set over the weekend at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

Musgraves, 37, performed at the iconic music festival weeks before her sixth record, Middle of Nowhere, makes its debut. The history-making Grammy winner has already released the title track and “Dry Spell,” which she delivered after posting cheeky teasers on Instagram and TikTok. Musgraves shared clips of her rendition “Uncertain, TX,” a collaboration with Willie Nelson that will appear on the 13-track record, on Instagram after her performance.

During her Coachella set, Musgraves also debuted “Back on the Wagon” from her highly-anticipated new album, in addition to playing “Middle of Nowhere” and “Dry Spell.” The Texas-born country star also played “High Horse,” a cover of George Strait’s “All My Ex’s Live in Texas” with lyric changes, “Golden Hour,” “Butterflies” and other career-spanning songs.
