Everyone has their own idea about what “fun” is. For some, it’s camping in a remote area with no one else around, while others enjoy riding extreme roller coasters at theme parks. Some cities are considered more fun and thanks to a new report from WalletHub, we now know which ones they are.
To come up with 2022’s most fun cities in America, WalletHub compared 182 cities - including 150 of the biggest cities - on 65 metrics in three key areas: Entertainment and Recreation; Nightlife and Parties; and Cost.
Based on those, Las Vegas, Nevada, has been named the most fun city in the country, once again. It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that “Sin City” comes in first for both entertainment & recreation and nightlife & parties. But because all that fun can get pretty pricey, Vegas lands at number 84 for cost.

And on the flip side, the city ranked last for fun is Pearl City, once again. It ranks 173rd for entertainment and recreation, 179th for nightlife and parties and 180th for cost.
