Why Is Reba Crying About Hosting the ACM Awards?

Reba is showing off her comedic chops in the first promo for next month’s ACM Awards.

In the 30-second commercial, the hosting veteran records various versions of herself declaring “I’m back,” including one in full-on cry mode!

Reba tells Entertainment Tonight she’s looking forward to her return to the ACM helm after a six-year hiatus.

“It's really exciting,” she says. “I love live television. So, to be able to know the ins and outs and who’s doing what and be there for rehearsals ... it’s just fun.”

The “God and My Girlfriends” singer last hosted the ACMs alongside Blake Shelton in 2012 and has previously held the post for a total of 15 time, beginning in 1986.

Additionally, Reba has won 16-career ACM Awards and is nominated once again in 2018 for Female Vocalist of the Year.

The 53rd ACM Awards air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 15, on CBS.
