COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Fresno State senior kicker Dylan Lynch has earned his second Old Trapper Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Week honor this season, announced by the conference office on Monday.
Lynch scored 15 points in last Saturday's 41-14 win over San Jose State. He was a perfect 4-of-4 on his field goal attempts, and accounted for three point-after points. His 15 points were a season-high while his four made field goals were also a season-best. It was the first time four or more field goals were made in a Bulldog game since Lynch's five at Arizona State in 2023.
Lynch hit on field goals from 34-yards, 41-yards (twice) and 33-yards out.
Two of his field goals came after Fresno State collected a turnover on the defensive side of the ball. Fresno State scored 23 total points off turnovers on Saturday.
With the 15 points, Lynch has officially broken into the Top 5 of Fresno State's all-time scoring list with 307 career points. He is the first Bulldog since Ronnie Rivers (2021) to join the Top 5 and the first Bulldog kicker since the all-time leading scorer Kevin Goessling (2011).
Monday's announcement is Lynch's third career weekly honor.
