Carrie Underwood shared a video on her Instagram story on Sunday (November 3) that offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the powerhouse singer-songwriter’s 12th consecutive Sunday Night Football open. Production company King and Country shared the behind-the-scenes look at the visual effects in a video on the social media platform.
“Shooting the new show open is always something I look forward to, and Tripp [Sunday Night Football Creative Director Tripp Dixon] and the whole creative team brought it yet again, and we had a great day putting on an exciting new performance,” Underwood previously said in a statement shared by her record label as the new Sunday Night Football open made its debut. “Like everybody else, I’m waiting all day for Sunday night!”
Underwood filmed her 12th consecutive Sunday Night Football open at Resorts World Theater in Las Vegas. The venue hosts Underwood’s ongoing residency, REFLECTION, which launched in 2021. Underwood is the first and longest-running resident headliner at Resorts World Theater. The “Ghost Story” hitmaker recently announced the final run of REFLECTION shows, set for April 9, 11 and 12.
