Carrie Underwood shared photos of her stunning looks on American Idol this week.

The powerhouse country star, who launched her career when she won the show in 2005, wore a stunning, long-sleeved paisley dress during Sunday evening’s (May 4) episode of Idol. That night, Underwood teamed up with fellow country star Miranda Lambert to post an epic tribute to the pair’s iconic revenge anthems. Lambert said the two have been “gettin’ revenge since 2005,” nodding to her debut album’s title track, “Kerosene,” and Underwood’s “Before He Cheats.” The clip was set to the duet Lambert and Underwood released in 2014, “Somethin’ Bad.”

On Monday night (May 5), Underwood wore a black gown with a dramatic white bow on the front. She captioned a selfie on Instagram: “Bow-My-Goodness! [Idol] is SO good tonight! 🎀👏🏻” American Idol’s official Instagram account commented back: “Oh bow you didn’t!!!! 🎀”

Underwood also shared photos of her homemade wardrobe piece that she wore on Sunday on the American Idol set. She wrote in the caption when she posted photos of the crocheted, tomato-patterned top: “Got to wear my tomato top yesterday to the Idol set! I’m so happy how it turned out. ❤️ I just kept it really simple and added a ruffle at the bottom. Now what should I make?”

Underwood made her highly-anticipated return to American Idol as a judge for the first time this year, 20 years after she won the show’s fourth season. The eight-time Grammy winner joins judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, and reunites with longtime host Ryan Seacrest as she makes her nostalgic return.
