Four football staff additions announced

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State football head coach Matt Entz announced four staff members to the coaching staff on Friday. Bijan Hosseini, Malik Forrester and Justin Bailey have been retained from the 2024 staff and will serve as analysts on their respective sides of the ball. Tucker Meyer is new to the Valley and will be a defensive assistant with the nickels.

Meyer will lead the Bulldogs' nickel position. He has been added to the Bulldog football staff from UCLA where he was a special teams analyst with the Bruins in 2024. Prior to his stop at UCLA, he was at North Dakota State as a defensive analyst and outside linebackers coach in 2023. He also has stops at Charlotte, Mississippi State, Montana, Rocky Mountain College and Dickinson State.

Hosseini was an offensive graduate assistant for the Bulldogs in 2024. He worked with the offensive line, and will stay with that group this season alongside Zach Crabtree and Matt Smith.

Forrester, a Bulldog football alumni, enters his second season on staff in 2025. He worked with the defensive tackles in 2024 and will assist with the group again this season.

Bailey served as a graduate assistant for the Bulldogs in 2024, and assisted with the defensive backs. In 2025, his focus shifts from the secondary to the linebackers. Bailey has ties to the new defensive coaching staff having spent time at Northern Illinois with current Bulldog defensive line coach Jordan Gigli.
