FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State women's basketball continues their time on the road, traveling to Reno on Wednesday morning to take on the Nevada Wolf Pack at Lawlor Events Center. It's an early morning tip off at 11 a.m. PT as Nevada hosts over 9,000 elementary school kids for their 'When I Grow Up' game. Coverage of the contest will stream live on the Mountain West Network. \

Fresno State improves to 13-8, 4-4 MW
Fresno State has now beat two teams that held higher conference standing then the 'Dogs and that went 2-0 against the Bulldogs last season
Mia Jacobs earned her 12th double-double of the season on the road against New Mexico with 20 points and 10 rebounds, Jacobs now ties for third nationally and is first in the Mountain West for double-doubles in a single season
Bulldogs have not seen more than two losses in a row
Maria Konstantinidou was on the verge of her first career-double against New Mexico with ten points and nine rebounds
Fresno State is tied for 4th in the Mountain West with Boise State and Utah State (4-4 MW)

ABOUT THE MATCH UP
Fresno State and Nevada will meet for the 77th time in program history and for the 30th time in Reno. Fresno State leads both the all-time meetings at 52-18 and in Reno, 18-12.
Bulldogs pulled through against the Wolf Pack in the last meeting on Feb. 21, 2024 at the Save Mart Center, 57-45. Fresno State's last win at Lawlor Event Center was in 2019, 79-63. Coach White is 4-4 when playing in Reno and has dropped the last four road meetings to the Wolf Pack.
Bulldogs are 5-5 in the last ten meetings with the Wolf Pack. In two of the last four meetings, Bulldogs have seen a five point difference in final score.
TAKING IT TO THE TOP
Fresno State has now defeated two conference opponents that were ranked higher then the Bulldogs the week they competed, Boise State and New Mexico.
The two teams also swept the Bulldogs in their two meetings last season and held at least a three-game series win streak over the 'Dogs.
This season the Bulldogs flipped the script to pull out a win. Fresno State had not seen a win against New Mexico since Mar. 2022 and a win at The Pit since Feb. 2020.
Bulldogs snapped Boise's four game series win streak and now look to grab their first win at Extra Mile Arena since Feb. 2022. Bulldogs and Broncos will meet once again on Feb. 15 in Boise.
ROAD FIGHT
Fresno State earned their third road win of the season in a turnabout game against the Lobos that saw eight lead changes, for the second time this season (8, UNLV).
Against the Lobos, Fresno State had a 16-3 run in the fourth quarter holding New Mexico to seven points. 'Dogs have shot over 45% from the field in two conference road games. 49% at San Jose State and 48% at New Mexico.
Bulldogs are staying on the road as they visit Nevada for a Wednesday morning match up. This will be the earliest start time in the last two seasons, with tip off set for 11 a.m. PT. Fresno State has lost by less than ten points in their last three road visits, falling short by bone in the last road meeting on Jan. 24, 2024 (63-62).
CAREER HIGHS
Three Bulldogs posted new career highs against New Mexico; Saga Ukkonen, Danae Powell and Rayna Williams
Ukkonen posted a new career high 13 points going 5-of-11 (45%) from the field and 3-of-7 (42%) from beyond the arc. The senior guard also matched her career-high six rebounds (3x), four assists (3x) and three 3PFGM (2x).
The two freshmen put in work as well. Powell put a new career high of nine points after hitting a ceiling of eight points five times this season. The Las Vegas native went a perfect 100% from the field (3-of-3) and the foul line (3-of-3). The freshmen guard also tacked on a career high seven assists and two steals. Williams had a career high six points going 3-of-4 from the field.
