COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Fresno State Baseball's Aidan Cremarosa has been named Mountain West Pitcher of the Week after his lights out performance against ranked UC Santa Barbara, the conference announced on Monday.
This marks Cremarosa's first MW honor and the team's third consecutive week with an honor earned.
Cremarosa started two games for the Bulldogs this week: on Tuesday against Saint Mary's and on Sunday against UCSB.
In total, Cremarosa pitched 8.2 innings, allowing seven hits and only two earned runs while striking out 10 batters.
Against ranked UCSB, Cremarosa pitched for 6.2 innings and allowed only one run and struck out 7, earning his second win of the season.
