COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Fresno State's Ava Marr was named the Old Trapper MW Freshman of the Week announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. Marr grabs the conference's first weekly honor of the season.

Guided the Bulldogs to a 2-0 week to open the season against Fresno Pacific (87-38) and CSU Bakersfield (74-51).
Averaged 10.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.
Against the Sunbirds, logged 15 points, six rebounds and three steals.
Against the Roadrunners, registered six points and three rebounds.
