The iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max where all just announced at a streaming event by Apple this afternoon. Some exciting features of the new devices are a new lidar sensor on the back of the 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. This feature give you the ability for augmented reality. You can place things into a real world video or picture that weren't actually there. For instance, if you are redesigning a room, you can add the furniture and fixtures to see what you like. Or just fake your reality... you know, like Instagram. The lidar sensor also makes it easier and faster than a regular camera when you need to scan a room. The 12 series phones won't have headphones or a charger in the box either.

The 12 Pro will have the biggest screen to date for iPhones and an additional camera lens. They targeted professional photographers with the new camera abilities and functions.

With no headphones or charges in the box for the new 12 series, Apple also unveiled the MagSafe. It's a new charging paradigm that lets chargers, cases and other accessories snap onto the back of the device, allowing for multiple devices to charge at once.

The devices will start at $699 for the mini and go up from there.
