Eddie & Lunchbox “Fake Quit” the Show by Email

Tim "Herb" Alexander was the drummer for the band Primus for almost 25 years, that was until recently. Alexander sent a blindsided email to his bandmates to let them them know he was quitting after losing passion for playing.

The news story inspired Bobby Bones to have Eddie and Lunchbox do an exercise on the Bobby Bones Show this morning. He asked them each to write an email as if they were quitting the show. Naturally, they each had different approaches to how they would email-quit the show.

Lunchbox's started off his quitting email stating how important he was for the show, "Bobby and his minions, I am done... my last show was yesterday but maybe I will tune in today to hear you all crying. Basically this means you all be out of a job show, i carried this show for 21 years and my back just got tired."

Meanwhile, Eddie's quitting email was a lot more sentimental sharing why he would miss everyone, "I will not be coming in to work today. I will not be coming in to work tomorrow. or the next day. or the day after that. because I quit. I will miss hanging out with all you guys every morning though."
