I'm shocked at this story! Who would put hot wax on a 2 year old? If this happened, I totally understand why these mothers would be upset.
A daycare in Washington state is under investigation after two moms claimed that their children's eyebrows were waxed at the facility. "I saw she was missing her patch of hair because she has a unibrow and she was born like that," Alyssa Salgado told WLTX News this week about her 2-year-old daughter, Lilayiah. Salgado also told KNDO News that when she picked her daughter up on Thursday afternoon from the nonprofit daycare at Columbia Basin College in Pasco, "She had a couple of tears in her eyes. It looked like somebody waxed her." Fellow mom Glenda Maria Cruz says her 2-year-old son's brows were also waxed; when she tried to touch his face, he told her, "No, no, stop. It hurts."
Authorities say it will take 30 days to complete their investigation into the incident.
