If you live this close to a beach, you probably could afford to buy your own sand. Then again, is this how the rich stay rich, by being cheap?
United Airline's CEO is taking some heat for stealing sand from a nearby public beach to use for his own 6.8 million dollar home. Apparently, heavy machinery was scooping up the sand and moving it to the front of his home to create sand dunes. It was caught on video and some neighbors are outraged. The violations of state statutes may result in penalties and fines.
United Airlines can't catch a break from the bad headlines. How long before people feel completely done with them and have zero trust in the airline anymore?
